so.. i let a friend borrow my racking/bottling bucket and made a batch without racking. it fermented about a week and stopped..... 1 month later it starts bubbling again........... hydrometer reading said 1.055 og and 1.010 final......... i calculated that to about 5.8 and checked it a couple days later and it was the same so i thought it was done......... any insight? its been bubbling for 3 days about once per 5 min

Airlock activity means absolutely nothing. If you're getting the same readings on you hydrometer when you measure, then it's done. Your yeast could be off gassing to cause the bubbling. I would measure one more time, if the gravity is stable then go get the stuff back from you friend, and either secondary, or bottle/keg. Sounds like everything is fine.
