Thinking about getting out of the hobby. Upgraded my entire setup over the last few years to electric. This equipment is in great condition. That's a really nice setup - how well does the trub cone form with the elements at the bottom and is it flat? Also, what kind of quick disconnects are those and what tubing is used? Thanks

I have had very good performance with the whirpool and trub settling. The dip tube has a metal piece and a silicone damper over it that keeps the trub away from the dip tube until the very end as you start to uncover the cone. Works better than any of the other systems I have ever had i have zero complaints. They kettles are flat bottom and the element doesn't seem to affect the trub cone formation at all.

The tubing is high temp flexible silicone. It is great. The QD's are CPC fitting (i believe the company is Colder) I have been using these for 20 years and they are by far the best i have used. Recently replaced the o-rings on the male ones and i have a bunch of spares but they last a very very long time.
