Anyone have a commercial quarter or half barrel laying around that they could measure for me? I'm taking delivery of my new frigidaire freezer today, but am worried now that a commercial barrel won't fit... the intertubes list anything from 16 to 17 inches, but state that exact dimensions vary by brand.

My goal was to be able to tap 2 homebrews and one commercial offering to help satisfy everyone at poker night, etc. I'd be kind of ticked if I went through all this and one won't even fit....

The freezer measures a tight 16-1/4" across.

My Miller keg I've got in the garage is 15-1/2W x 23-1/2"H. Some kegs are going to be bigger than this. I know Coors has bigger barrels than most.

15-1/2" at the widest? If that's the case, at least I know I can fit some.... probably just have to be choosy about which brands.

Thanks.

I just measured the top. The rings around it do stick out a little bit, but I think it'd maybe add only another 1/2" on to your measurement. I think you'll be fine.
