So I had about a gallon of IPA and a gallon of blonde ale left over after kegging and only one keg left. I desired to throw them both in the final keg and see what happens. Will I get something in the middle or will it be messed up because they were not brewed together?

I have a friend who had a raspberry stout and a hefeweisen kegged. I forget what went wrong, but some seal broke and they both ended up in the bottom of his keezer. He got as much as he could back into the kegs and the resulting beer actually tasted pretty good. It was funny, and wasn't anywhere close to any style, but it was still pretty cool.

It's not unheard of to blend two beers. I think that is how newcastle brown ale is made. I've personally never done it before, I bet you'd end up with a fairly drinkable beer if you decide to blend them.

Do it. It'll be delicious. I made a Ffarg apple ale and drank about a gallon of it. I had a Belgian Grand Cru ready to keg but I had overshot my calculations and ended up with 6 gallons of it. I kegged 5 and added the last gallon to my Ffarg. It was great.

I bet that would turn out pretty good..somewhat similar styles. I bet it will turn out as a pale ale..more or less.
