Not gonna talk smack yet, but the Cards SPANKED #16/18 Butler last night.

Butler won't be as good as advertised, but had players score 23 and 25 pts each and still got BLOWN OUT by some promising looking UofL upstarts.

WHO YOU GOT?????

It'll be interesting to see how Butler responds after that game.

I was more interested in THE Ohio State University smacking down Florida on the road!

Well. U of L continues to STOMP teams.

UCONN defeats the #2 SPARTANS?!?!?!?!?

Look out for the Big East. It may just turn out to be a Meat grinder this year. (not for the first time)

7 BIG EAST TEAMS RANKED....

And U of L knocks off it's 2nd ranked opponent #19 UNLV............

The cards have now destroyed ranked UNLV too...Anyone else here?;)

Oh well. The big east has HALF of the top 10 spots..........(none of the top 4 however)

Still 7 in the top 25, but 5 in the top 10 sounds more impressive.

And, yes, it is still early.

The BIG EAST!!!!!!!

Spanked Providence, made DUKE our bitch, ARE YOU KIDDING??

The only one who can beat us is US.

Cardinals took it to UConn too!

Took it to UConn? Seriously?

Louisville won, but it was down nine with 8 minutes left in regulation, down four with 37 seconds left in the first OT. Not exactly taking it to anybody, especially considering UConn played ole defense on Siva at the end of regulation and overtime.

UConn was due for one of those. I like Louisville because they're gritty. But Jennings has fallen way short of his potential. What's up with him?

And yes, the Big East is a meat grinder.

Agreed, Uconn was hardly man-handled, but a win is a win.

Jennings doesn't realize how big and powerful he is. The problem is in his head.

Georgetown tonight, I am not counting that win yet.

GO DUKE!

Lol, no offense meant, but they are gonna run into the Big East at some point, and it will be intereting. See below:

Duke, also winners! Right? Spanked by a Big East team not even really in the hunt at this point.

(sorry Jake)

St Johns put them in some kind of Hell.

Duke got spanked alright, I'll be the first to admit it.. 3 big men and we still live and die by the 3 and we DIED!

But props to St's J's, they played like a top 10 team IMO, and looking at that conference I think they are much better than their rankings indicate!

Agreed! But any team can beat any team in the big east at any time, and st john's is still lagging.

I was just messing around with the "Took it to" part.

It was a great game, the BE is a powerhouse this year.

I'm not sure what Jennings' problem is, laziness? Complacency in the perfomance of the rest of the squad?

Now if only my Boilers could get their heads outta their asses!

11 teams from the big east projected to be in the dance. Crazy.

Everyone will get their day.

Duke will get another shot at the Big east, as will Kansas. I would love for Ohio state to face the big east too.

How many Big East teams projected to be in the second round? :p

I hope U of L does well and I really hope we can get some NCAA tournament action here in the future.

I also really, really, wish she would just stop it and go to jail already!

First win against UConn wasn't good enough, WTG Cards!

Boilers need to do the same at home vs. OSU now!

Go Boilers!

and yes, the CARDS TOOK IT to UCONN. Frigging suffocated them.

Final four will have 2 big east teams. You heard it.;)

11 SOLID for the Big EAST in the NCAA Tourney.

(if no one is killed during the Big East tournament)

Tuesday-Saturday, noon - 11pm or so (7pm on for fri and sat), NON STOP FUN.

It will be so hard to work.

Cardinals DESTROYED Providence, satisfying because the Friars were kind of a headscratching loss fior the cards previously.

Buckles was great, but the cards are SO deep now, he will be missed, but really, we just won't win by quite as much.;)

Saturday was a bad day for me.

Boilers and the Cards were both upset. Cards were going to have their hands full with WV, especially with the Mountaineers coming off a couple of big wins with ND and UConn.

Purdue should have pounded Iowa, but unfortunately couldn't buy a bucket. Luckily their defense showed up and helped keep Iowa from running away with it.
