Not sure if my subject line made sense... I have a 5lb CO2 tank outside of my Sanyo 4900, with the gas line running in through the drain hole. What is the easiest way for me to use my CO2 tank to transfer wort or beer from keg to keg? I haven't used the tank for transfers since I got the Sanyo.
Possibly a stupid question, but I'm wondering if there's an easy way to do this without having to keep the fridge door open.

Thanks.

put a y on the output, or a second low pressure regulator inline you can keep one line going into the fridge, and one line outside (just depends on if you want to adjust the pressure outside, without affecting the pressure inside )

Putting a Y in the line outside the fridge is the simplest way, if you expect to do it often. You could also put a quick disconnect in the line.

So if I put a Y on the line, both ends go to a quick disconnect, and it's OK to leave the outside one when it's not being used?

David, I like your sig line quote about dry hopping.

You could also put a quick disconnect in the line.

+1 on this. I have 3 tanks I use and all of them have quick disconnects on them so I can swap them around and use them for whatever function I need. I've got about 2 ft of gas line on the regulator, and then the connector. The gas line of my kegerator has the appropriate fitting about 1 ft outside the fridge. I've got a two ft. line, with mating disconnect and a gas in disconnect for purging kegs, or force carbing. Plus I put a mating disconnect in a carboy cap so I can use CO2 to start my siphons during transfers (and minimize O2 exposure)

I got mine from McMasters. The ones without check valves are ~$2 each

This is great information! Thanks a bunch.
