I live in Wimbledon in the UK, and want to buy a CO2 cylinder and regulator for attachment to a cornelius keg. I have no experience in this, and my local brew shop doesn't really get into the details of co2 cylinders etc (they sell hambleton bard cylinders but not regulated ones). I see some corny's are pin-lock, some are ball-lock etc. I have bought a reconditioned corny which is all set to carbonate with a refill co2 cylinder (one you screw into the top of the corny and it releases pressure into the keg until you unscrew it). I see there is an inlet and outlet valve on the keg. Currently I have pressure guage on the inlet valve and a dispensing tap on the outlet valve. Presumably once I buy the cylinder and regulator, I hook this up to the inlet valve and leave the outlet valve unchanged?

Can anyone recommend a shop or website where I can buy a cylinder and regulator and attachment to connect to the inlet valve? I think my corny is a ball lock one

Step 1. Read this before asking any further corny keg questions. It's everything you need to know.

Step 2. Search ebay for regulators in the UK. Alternatively join with step 3.

Step 3. Call welding shops. I'm not sure whats near Wimbledon but I didn't have any troubles finding cylinders in Oxford.

Many thanks - I willl give the welding shops a buzz. I found that ebrew site pretty helpful - all questions seemingly answered.
