I just got a new 10 gallon cooler mash tun with the stainless steel false bottom

http://www.midwestsupplies.com/single-infusion-mash-tun.html

I'm just not sure how to properly clean it. Do I need to disassemble it and remove the false bottom?

There's enough slack in the hose that I can lift up one edge , is that enough to clean it out?

My old setup for small 1 gallon batches with a 2 gallon cooler with a ball-valve and a slotted brass and copper manifold. All that just un-screwed really easy for clean up.

Thanks for your advise.

I have the same cooler and I have to take it apart to get all the grain out of the bottom and clean the pickup tube etc.

The great thing about mash tuns and anything else used pre-boil is that if they look clean, they're clean enough.

That's me new motto for everything!!!

SWMBO: "Are the dishes clean"
Me: "They look clean enough"

SON#1: "Dad, can you wash my hair?"
Me: "It look clean enough"

My life just got way easier ;)
