Pricing makes absolutely zero sense...$850 for the 120v version should translate to no more than $1,000 for this 240v kit. Think they saw some other options enter the market at some high price points and are trying to leverage off of that.

$699.00 / $1,449.00 seems like quite the stretch.... They may want to reconsider their price points. For $100.00 less you can get SSBT's brand new 1v controller when it launches.

kinda surprised they would go with those generic ebay front panel switches along with such a nice omron pid though.. unless Ive only ever seen clones and these have some sort of electrical certification.

Not sure if they're even releasing a System. They've been very tight-lipped since February and aside from the new eKettles, they haven't even hinted at offering a complete eBIAB system. 2 Months ago @ Homebrew Con, Short Circuited Brewers asked them, and they responded: "A BIAB solution is in the works", but with SSbt, that could mean another year.

I got tired of waiting and dropped my $ on the Grounded Brewing Technologies 15 Gallon system.

There was a slight manufacturer delay in shipping the kettles / baskets. Mine are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. Planning to do a full cleaning / auto-tune / water run this weekend with a full brew day next weekend. Will be posting my feedback in the GBT thread.
