There will be 3 or 4 area homebrew clubs out pouring beers all day. I will be at the Tampa Bay B.E.E.R.S. tent pouring off 8 or 10 kegs. Be sure to come by and say high.

I will be helping with the Pubguild tent along with a few others. I think we are bringing 10 kegs also. Looking forward to meeting some other HBT members.

Just booked a room at the HoJo next to the longhorn on Spruce st. for two nights. Got at least four buddies of mine carpooling down. I'm envisioning mayhem. It may be a fleabag hotel but at least it's within stumbling distance. :)

I will be there. Still trying to work out the details. Will be there early for a bottle share on the side walk.

TB,

Be sure to let me know if there is anything in Atlanta here you want me to bring down.

Got a orange pale ale, lemon wheat, and strawberry kolsch that will be kegged next week. The best of the three will be coming to Tampa next month.

Will do. I will do some looking. Does Terrapin or Redbrick do any brewery release only beers? I will have that Zhukov for you.

Nope. Stupid GA laws. You can't sell out of breweries. All beer must be sold through the distributor.

But we have wineries who sell, so you figure it out.

I will be in Florida for my buddies wedding that weekend. Unfortunately the wedding is on the 9th!! :(

I am going to head there on sunday. Does anyone think that there will be any chance that i could get a bottle then, or does it usually sell out the day of?

Thanks,

Ben

Always sells out

You could check craigslist or also the trading section of this forum or beeradvocate and I am sure there will be many locals that are trying to trade. It may cost you a little more, but you should be able to attain a bottle then. Take a look at the events on tampabaybeerweek.com as there are a few things before and after the wedding date.

I have my mom and a few others camping for me. We'll see what they get for me. She came through a couple years ago, but couldn't make it last year. No worries, it's just beer. There is too much more out there to cry about not getting it. But I'll probably cry if I don't get it. But I can always trade for it. People still like Westvleteren, right?

Beer tokens are available for pre-sale at the brewery. Buy early and save yourself waiting in one line.

We'll be picking up our tokens on Friday afternoon. I think the plan is to leave early Friday morning from Jax and then hit Peg's Cantina for lunch, then drive back up to CCB for the remainder. Everyone I know from here is staying at the HoJo next to Longhorn steakhouse within stumbling distance of CCB. Epic weekend pending.

Same plan for Friday. Pegs for lunch then CC for afternoon tour and tasting room.

I will also be at pegs for lunch, then rapp brewing in the afternoon for his event, then headed to souther brewing for their leftovers party. If you guys have not checked out the leftovers party on the bfbc webpage, you should. $10 and there are 1000 bottles to drink. Pretty big event.

T-minus 15 hours before road trip departure. About 4 1/2 hours on the road, down 75, before we stop in at Swamphead Brewery in Gainesville. Then on to Tampa.

For anyone traveling South, consider a pit stop. It's about 4 min off of 75 and worth a bathroom break.
