The Almanac sour and Firestone's Lil Opal were personal favorites. Churchills X is great, as well, and should be on for weeks to come. Wish the list would have had a few more funky/saison style offerings, but I cant complain. The list at Renaissance is always pretty special. Where else does 2010 Abyss just sit untouched because theres 3 dozen+ better or more interesting options available?

For serious, would love to grab a beer with you next time you're going to Disneyland.

If its up your kids alley, have an in at Jedi Training Acadamy, can guarantee they get picked if its a Sunday.
You live in Anaheim? 57 trips in 2 years - I've been laying low for a bit! I'll be sure to look you up - maybe we can hit Noble or something next time we hit the GC Villas and stay a few days.

They pulled this off the board just as I was about to order it.

Regardless, was nice to get to try some of the leftovers this morning. Got there at opening, domed a '14 CFH, and split a few other pours with my mom. Really enjoyed the NB Love Leopold. Just wish I had time to try more, but we had a pretty long drive ahead of us, and still had to stop at the Bruery to pick up bottles (and Phoenix Club for reubens).

How were the Reubens? Long-time listener or first-time caller?

I've certainly followed the Reuben thread and they definitely lived up to the hype. We were both impressed and fully satisfied. My mom only ate half and I actually just crushed the rest when I got home (little congealed and coagulated, but still ******* delicious)....

Live about 2 miles from the Park, actually! Can meet you there ( pretty sure there's a seat with my name on it at Carthay) or anywhere in the vicinity. Bottle Logic is worth checking out next time you're up this way.

dat potato salad HHHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

That Craftsman sour is fantastic. Sleeper pick of the list for me.
I enjoyed that craftsman as well. The 2012 and 2014 CFH were delicious, and dangerous! I had sip of a friends Bomb! right before it kicked. Good as usual. Thanks a lot for the ride rcubed . I would have liked to meet some of you but I didn't post that I was there... Next time!
The regulars on this SD thread need to have a bottle share i'm thinking!

I was trusteeing for two people and was told that I couldn't pick up those bottles when I was there yesterday. Nice to know he handed out 25% though.

Maybe they let me because the other bottle was for my wife and her name was right underneath mine.

Heh, this one is still up:

Wow, Churchill's Finest Hour gave birth to Churchill's Douchiest Responses. Whaaaaa, I got buttloads of money from my fans (17 hour$ wasn't enough?), I'm a little short on sleep, I put blame on people who I didn't/couldn't/wouldn't get info to. Good thing you have a good fan-base, because word travels fast in this game.

Amy's Baking Company & Alpine Beer Co have both taught us it's a bad idea to get defensive on social media outlets. Seems to always make matters worse, fanning the flames instead of extinguishing them.

Craft beer seems to attract a lot of people (various brewers and establishment owners, the Bros/Candice, etc.) who get very butthurt over being criticized on social media.

Exactly how has Alpine paid for its Facebook transgressions? [grin]

Does anyone wanna fill me on on what happened with Alpine? Yep I'm new here :)

I gave them some criticism on Facebook. They responded to me with a meme photo, and later deleted my comments and banned me from posting on their Facebook. I then wrote a Yelp review. They then banned me from the brewery.

I've always likened Alpine to the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld (i.e. no beer for me). They can't take any criticism and will get super defensive about it.

That had to be some important ass criticism to be worth getting banned from a brewery over.

I've always thought that all ass criticism (and praise for that matter) is of great importance. Before humans became upright, the butt was the foundation of all sexual advertisement and, therefore, propogation of the species.

You mean Xhamster?
not that I know of. Just the thread that used to be in the Totally Off Topic subforum.

Having a (for the most part) sfw dat ass thread was nice for the art and appreciation for it's followers. I do understand why it's no longer around though. The Sochi babes thread was enjoyable for a while.
