I am close to finishing off my electric brewery. I did a test run last night for the second time after fixing a few leaks from the first test. All looked good except connecting/disconnecting my hoses from the outflow side of my pumps seems to have loosen the connections. I have Chugger pumps with side in/outflows. They were on sale and stainless, so I was a sucker and didn't pay up for the center in/outflows. The extra weight of the elbow, connections, and ball valve, seem to be too much. The outflows are now pointing towards the floor instead of straight ahead.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking about building a support, or just removing the elbow & connections, so it's just a ball valve.

Thanks.

A straight run out of the valve is usually best.

You should be able to tighten up the fittings so they do not move if you prefer your setup.
