Chili Bowl !!!

Tomorrow is my annual outdoor Chili Bowl. That meant today was spent making chili (yes, it takes most of the day !), so that tomorrow we can sit outside eating chili, watching football, and drinking homebrew !
The weather is going to cooperate, albeit a bit warm for chili, now we just have to hope the Bears do their part !!!
No recipe to share, but I DO have pics !
Three pounds each of stew meat and chorizo, seven different types of dried chilis, five types of fresh peppers, onion, garlic, tomatos products, three bottles of beer later.....

I just bought chili-making stuff myself, yesterday. Gonna make it tomorrow if I get ambitious.

So, how did you do?

It went great ! (Except for the Bears !! @#!$#%^$&ing Bears !!!!!)
This was the first time I've ever had other people bring their chilis. We had 6 different types, including a chicken-and-white-bean. I also converted another neighbor, a "lite beer" drinker, to homebrew...or at least craft brews.
We managed to kill off 2 cases, so it's going to be time to brew again soon, too !
I've convinced SWMBO that this IS an annual event, which is a good thing, too. Next year, I'll have to post it up earlier here, and anyone near the S.E. 'Burbs can stop by.
