Hello everyone, I have been checking out this site for a couple weeks now...since my girlfriend bought me a one gallon brew kit as a gift. I think I am already hooked on home brewing. I have recently bottled my first batch, a Chestnut Brown Ale that came with the kit, and have a simple Hefeweizen fermenting in a second one gallon carboy I purchased so I could have more than one batch going at a time. Though I did make a few newbie mistakes, just browsing this site before I joined helped me avoid any drastic errors on my first batches, and I am planning on starting a Citra Weizen this weekend. LHBS is only 10 minutes away so that is a plus. This seems like a great site with a wealth of knowledge, look forward to learning and eventually expanding the operation!
