Hi all,
New to this forum and to brewing. After tasting my friends' home brew for years I finally took the plunge. Culver City Brewing helped me out with a 2 carboy setup and some recipes, and I just opened my first batch, an amber ale that came out much better than I thought it would. Just bottled a Sierra Nevada style IPA yesterday and am counting the days until Jan. 11.
I guess brewing beer is pretty zen, because definitely the hardest part is the "not doing". (as in, "don't open that yet")
Thanks for the forum and all the advice,
-R
