I agree, but if that means more hopped saisons....then :)
All of this. Batch 1 of Brett Loves Citra was incredible however every iteration since then has been on a steady decline. This year's batches are my least favorite Casey beers. What the hell happened to the series??

That said, the CO Cascade Dry Hopped Saison might be the best blend of Saison yet. I'm all sorts of on board with this move. I wish Brett Loves would return to it's glory but it's looking like those early batches were lightning in a bottle and are just too hard to replicate.

What was the base for Hot Mess?
It was the High Gravity Saison that was bottled as b2 of Seasons Past and Leaner (same batch of wort, just different bugs).

man, this thread is dead. i guess all you guys who participate already know everything that is going on.

popping my head in to say that i opened a bottle of apricot cut this weekend. it was completely flat and, while it didn't taste bad, it didn't taste like any other casey beer i've had.

guessing i'm an outlier since i have heard no other mention of it, but was reaching out here to confirm.

Most of Casey stuff happens on local groups (I.E facebook).
Still bottles of Cut have occurred. I haven't heard of an Apricot one though, but I did not particularly enjoy that beer due to the acidity.

The release of Apricot Cut was delayed several months due to carb issues and never even really fully carbed at release (Troy's admission)

Anyone had the stuff available this week? I am trying to decide what to buy for take away.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but my current EF Casey trustee is apparently moving away next year so I'm in need of a new trustee. I'm part of a few Casey/Colorado groups on FB but I think I would prefer to have a Talkbeer person be my next trustee. Just looking for someone easy to work with. Obviously more than happy to pay back with thank you beers and such.

Anybody know details about Seasons Past 5 MO HiGrav Saison 10/27/15? ...pretty damn good

It was the base beer that they used for Leaner B1, unfruited and left in barrels by itself for 5 mo. Maybe my favorite beer I've had from Troy

And I believe it's only with Troy's culture and not Cory's. So it's the Leaner base beer with just Casey bugs and no fruit.

any members able to pickup/ship for me this coming year?

Unless you are specifically seeking a talkbeer person, ~50% of the activity on the club facebook group is people helping each other out with pickups.

gotcha.. just didn't want to commit w/o being sure I could get someone to help me out.
