"I hand picked 120 pounds of Balaton cherries today. 60 pounds going into a saison barrel and 60 will be frozen for a future blend."

Let's play release date speculation! 30-45 days in the barrel + 30 days in the bottle. See you all September 13th!

When I talked to Troy he guessed late August.

Also, whoever goes out next needs to get him signed up here for an AMA. It would be interesting to hear the journey from subsidiary of coors in one of the largest facilities in existence to a warehouse in Glenwood Springs.

edit: he might have said late August for the next regular saison release then after that for Cherry. not sure.

Mile High the other. Mile High had a limit of 4 and heard Small batch had no limit. 2nd hand knowledge on the limits though

Need dat saison. Was it fairly easy for you CO folk to acquire?
If you drove up for the release weekend it was easy. And the few bottle shops that had it in Denver seemed to have it for a day before they sold out. The brewery isn't open most of the time from what I hear so it's not like if I drove the 3 hours up today I would be able to pick some up.

so short answer is it wasn't too hard to get if you made an effort.

And by effort, you mean a 10 hour round trip for us folks in Foco ;). Stupid traffic...

Do they keep regular hours, or just open so far during these release events?

Make the trip.
I did for the first release, didn't stay around cause I was working in Glenwood for a soccer tournament.
I managed to get two more bottles in Fort Collins. Totally worth it.

But yeah, no regular hours. I was up last weekend for the same reason, but alas the only option was Glenwood Canyon Brewpub (which I very much enjoy).

Hey guys are there any stores in Grand Junction that stock this?

Based on Troys post this morning, cherry saison will be released 9/6. I was off by one week. Sounds like he's going to pop a case or two tomorrow.

Who else is going up tomorrow?
