Hey guys,

Just trying to decide on the cartridge based pusher systems vs a 20oz CO2 + mini reg setup. 2.5 gal keg, size is not an issue. I already have a proper keezer/co2 tank/regulator setup for force carb.

Minireg (to be paired with 20oz paintball co2 tank and proper fittings):

Charger:

In my mind the paintball/reg setup will just be more robust overall at maintaining carb level as I am out and about with my keg, or would it just be a waste?

If you are going to use it a lot, 16g ones will get expensive quick. The 20oz will last longer and can be refilled and are a nice back up if your regular tank runs out.

Yeah good point. Also, people who know nothing about kegs are going to be pulling off it while I am busy, have heard the pushers aren't fool proof, paintball route seems the more prudent.

I have a paintball tank + mini-regulator for my rolling cooler that holds 2 1/2 and 3 gallon kegs. It is reliable and lasts a long time, much longer than a cartridge. In addition, the paintball tanks can be refilled at many sporting good stores.
