carbonation question

I have a corny keg that is about 3/4 full and sitting fully carbed at 55 degrees F with 18 PSI. It is disconnected from the CO2 tank.
If I move the keg to a 40 degree refrigerator, the carb chart says I should be at 10 PSI. So do I need to bleed off my keg down to 10 PSI when I move it to the fridge or will the pressure naturally change to the reduced pressure when the keg cools down?
