Who likes to head bang? Anyone enjoy ridiculous riffs? How about conspiracy theories (do you heed to those)? Some folks love pounding drums... is that in your wheel house? Well, if you like one or all of those things, click on the link and enjoy!

I get it... I can just listen to Death. but guess what folks, Death ain't churning out new music (due to the untimely death of Chuck S). So, when Matt Harvey (Exhumed) decided to record a tribute album that sounds like early Death albums, I was immediately on board. Check it out if your a fan of early death metal. enjoy!

I had never heard of this band. I find it interesting they based their band name and all the songs off of the video game of the same name. I am not a gamer, but I don't recall any other band doing this. I mean, Graf Orlock does the whole movie thing, and grind in general is heavy on sample from movies, but this is taking it to a new level.

That game better be super cool!

It actually was pretty awesome when it came out. The whole point of the game was you rode around on a horse and basically tracked these Colossal monsters down, then had to find out how to beat them.

The entire "level" would take place on the monster. You were the size of an ant compared to them. It rated very well and was very original when it was released on the PS2. The atmosphere was awesome, but I don't think the music would mesh really well with the game itself.

Either way, just an awesome band. I hope they keep putting out music... even if they did have some clean vocals on the second album (1 song maybe?).

Also... here's this, lol. I thought the video and song were pretty well done.

I just want everyone to know that I was not endorsing or encouraging anyone to listen to / buy Brian Posehn "metal" albums. I was simply replying to an individual who decided to drop in on the Metal portion of this forum. Now, listen to some good American Black Metal! enjoy :ban:

^^ that sucks

What sucks? Something you don’t understand / grasp? Listen again. Given it a couple listens before you just say “that sucks”! Also, are you a fan of grind/death? That may be the issue. Here is another hit of Cephalic! Hopefully, you enjoy this more!

Nice extended drone-y end to their album. They mix in Eisenhower's farewell speech into part 2 and it is very fitting, especially in these times.
