I have a Bourbon Barrel extract kit that I am planning on making. There will be bourbon soaked wood chunks added into the carboy about two weeks in. It will be about 16 oz. Taking a gravity reading before pitching yeast will give me the OG of the wort. Getting the FG after fermentation will give me the ABV of the beer…BUT…How would I calculate the FG being that there will be additional alcohol added in during its rest after fermentation. Any tips, tricks, techniques? Do I take a reading prior to adding the bourbon and then average in the alcohol content of the bourbon to the volume of beer?

UPDATE: Got the answer. It is a ratio calculation of beer alcohol/volume to liquor alcohol/volume.
