Burners pulsing

I'm having a little issue with the burners on my new HERMS brew stand.

I have two Blichmann burners attached to the same manifold. One is connected to a Honeywell valve and the other isn't. The one connected to the Honeywell valve seems to pulse somewhat. I can see the flame getting bigger and smaller over a second or so and I can't turn up the flame very high. The one directly connected to the manifold doesn't do this.

So, I have to conclude it's the Honeywell valve causing this. I know there is a pressure regulator in the valve. Could this be the cause?

I did convert the Honeywell valve to LP from natural gas. I'm using the Blichmann supplied LP regulator to supply the manifold. This regulator is not a low pressure one. It's a 10 PSI one. Do I need to use a low pressure regulator to eliminate this problem?

I also notice when the Auber PID controller turns on the valve, if I have the regulator turned up too much, it will not light, Pressure too high? Valve cutting off the flow because the pressure is too high?

I see there are some low-pressure LP regulators out there that set the pressure around 11" WC (1/2 PSI). but will I get enough BTUs?

Thanks for any help.

So, would this from Tejasssmokers.com (http://www.tejassmokers.com/lowpressureregulators.htm) work?

ref 108053P: Low Pressure, Higher Output Regulator consists of a Green Acme Type I tank fitting, low pressure high output PRESET regulator (which reduces the tank pressure to about 6 ounces, 10.5 " WC), and a five foot, 3/8" ID UL approved AGA hose with 3/8" F SAE gas flare swivel connection. For low pressure applications requiring higher gas volume output: 160,000 btu/hr maximum output. (ref #108053P-60 Also available with optional longer Low Pressure AGA hoses (see low pressure AGA hose options listed above). Also available with soft nose POL tank fitting at same price - just ask. Weight 5#.
160,000 btu/hr maximum output

Would this supply enough gas for both burners at high outputs?

Or, should I go for the higher output model mentioned above, ref #108053P-60

I see you converted the Valve to LP. Did you replace the orifice(s) in the burner(s) to be compatible with LP?

Yes, I converted the valve to LP as well as the burner orifices and the pilot light orifice.
