I realize this has been talked about a lot, but can someone give me an actual parts list for the ball valve assembly? Will be using the 10 gallon Rubbermaid drink cooler from Home Depot. I am planning on buying a false bottom, not converting the plumbing tube. Or maybe not? Does the plumbing tube work just as well?
I am currently just using a voile curtain in a little cooler we use for camping and then taking out the grain bag, placing it in a pot with sparge water, and then opening it and stirring for about 20 minutes. Efficiency is about 62%.

You can buy converter kits online from brewing stores. Mine consists of a false bottom that hook into a ball valve. The ball valve fits in the plastic spout hole of the mash tun. There is orings on both side of the ball valve

I looked at the link above and did a quick look around at Home Depot. I then decided to save myself the hassle of finding all the right parts and spent a few dollars more and got the cooler valve from Northern Brewer. It took me about 10 minutes to install.

I put the braid from a 3/4 inch water heater supply line on it. It hose clamped right over the
threaded piece on the inside. No need for a barb or any other fitting. I closed the other end with a nylon nut and bolt.
