Hello,

I am going to start building a kegerator and take the leap to kegging beer finally. Can anyone recommend the best most economical place to buy a conversion kit. Im just going for a single keg setup for now since I have a small apartments. Any advice on what type of fridge to buy or any other advice would be awesome. I found a conversion kit with 5LB C02 kit and shank for 114 dollars and have yet to find anything cheaper.

hey Kaiborg12 first off are you looking for corny keg or commerical set up ( i assume homebrew keg setup)? If you want a cheap set up i was suggest craig's list looking for fridges people do not want. That way if you get descent size fridge you can expand if you want. However most get dorm size fridge that can accommodate 2 cornies and you can put draft tower on top of it. There is you tube video by chrisknight000 showing you how to do it. You can get these supplies via keg connection, keg cowboy, more beer, northern brewer, midwest supplies, or ebay. i got most of my things for my keezer threw northernbrewer and keg connection. Also do research on what kind of tap that you want. Also you need to by some cleaning supplies. Extra seal kit. i had the basic which worked fine but it stuck alot on me regardless of my regular maintenance cleaning schedule. hope this helps. i put a pic of my behemoth 6 tap keezer
