Did anyone follow the Buffalo, NY blizard? I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THAT FU*KEN THING!!! No really. Driving.... could not see a sign... no clue where where we were (signs covered with snow)... following tail lights of this truck cause we could not see one DAMM THING! We got in right when it started to get fun. Just as we were driving up to Rochester it stoped as quickly as it started. It was like a wall... just stoped.

We were stuck for six hours on the Thruway during a similar storm five or six years ago. Just, were not moving. That's when you learn about piss jugs. We left MA at noon, got into Buffalo finally at close to midnight (usually a six hour trip). Kinda hard to get traffic moving when the plows are stuck in the same traffic.

Three years ago, we missed a BIGGER storm by three or four hours. We stayed over at the mother-in-law's on our way to my sister's in Ohio, as we left town it was beginning to snow. They ended up with *SIX* feet of snow. Kinda sad, I wanted to make vertical snow angels.

Buffalo's an adventure, that's for sure.

Yeah I went to school in Rochester. Missed the Ice Storm .... went home that holiday and everything was a mess when I got back.

Glad you made it home tho mon....:fro:
