Brewtech SS Brew Bucket

I'm considering getting a Brewtech SS Brew Bucket, however, without purchasing the special heating element, how do you regulate temperature? Would a regular brew belt work on one of these? Does anyone have experience?

Generally, what are they like?

Generally, they're a stainless steel bucket. Treat them the the same way you would treat a plastic bucket.

I have one and I like it, I may buy another, but it's not like they're a quantum leap from a bucket or carboy.
