Hi,

Which methods can you brew beer without the need of boiling water?


E.G: ginger beer/ hop beer

You can just add pre-hopped malt extract to water, add yeast, and let it rip. It's still a good idea to sanitize everything that is going to touch the beer. This type of malt is available from homebrew stores. Note that you do need "pre-hopped" malt. Just look for "no-boil" kits.

There's some risk of course. Municipal water can contain spoiling bacteria that will be in a footrace with your yeast to ferment your beer. Far better to boil everything.
 
You can also make a mead, check out the mead forum for tips. Generally meads are no-boil.
 
Can you heat water at all? If you can get your water to 75c (not sure the Fahrenheit) then you can make raw ale. There is a thread on here...
 
Based on the OP's previous posts/threads, I doubt he's in a position to afford honey for a mead currently, esp enough to make a high alcohol version like he's interested in...
