Thanks for having me. I'm new to brewing, but pretty experienced in drinking beer. Heh. I live in Southern Indiana, married with three teenage kids.
I'm using Midwest's brew kit with the 5 gallon glass carboy to start learning with. My first brew is currently in progress. It's Midwest's Autumn Amber Ale extract kit with steeping grains. I just moved it to the secondary last Thursday, so it has a while to go before it's fit to drink.
I've got a second kit in queue; their Hop Head Double IPA (love the hops), which I plan to start right before I start bottling the first.
I plan to glean everything I can from the good folks here, and share my failures and revelations along the way. Thanks again!
