Okay, everyone does this, everyone makes a big deal out of #100. I don't care, I think it's a tradition, not following the pack. So...
I just brewed #98. My 100th batch is coming quickly. I'd like to brew something special for #100.
Any suggestions? I'd love to brew a 10gal batch, and cellar 5. I was thinking a double (Imperial?) IPA since I'm more a fan of hoppy light-color beers than barleywines. But I don't want something that will not cellar well.
I know for most of you #100 is a distant memory. But I'd love some suggestions. What did you do for #100? What would you do for a momentous occasion such as this?
