Breakfast Stout Clone Question

I'm brewing a breakfast stout clone and I was wondering when and how to add the coffee. Should I add coffee grounds in the secondary, brew coffee and add it in the secondary, or brew coffee and add it at bottling?

i just tasted a homebrew with more coffee aroma than Founders, but little/no coffee flavor. that guy said he put it in secondary.
