Brass fittings

Hi
I've a king keg barrell in order to make a connection to rear of dalex tap. I've used 3 brass fittings, will it affect the beer taste?
The problem I've had is the 10mm flexi tube comes off the tap as the float moves around and I'm losing my beer
Can anyone help with my concerns

Stainless is better but brass and beer has gone hand in hand for 300+ years

Thank you beaksnbeer that eases my mind, as I was worried it would taint the beers
