This will be my first attempt at bulk priming with honey. I'm a little confused as to how to prime my batch. I would like to retain as much of the honey flavor as possible. My only concern is that I have heard honey has wild yeast strains in it. So should I treat honey the same as I would corn or cane sugar and just dissolve in water and boil it for ten minutes or is there a better way to do this?

There are several threads that talk about this...one is posted above. The standard is 3 tablespoons per gallon...I use 4 as I like them more carbed. Warm up some water and drop the honey in. Swirl it around and then rack your beer into it. It will take longer to carb.

Thanks for the help, just bottled this morning. I'll try one out in about a month and see if it carbed correctly.
