I’m going to bottle my first wine tomorrow. It has been sitting on wood, so instead of transferring to a bottling bucket, I thought about transferring it into a sanitized keg and then bottling it with my beer gun.

Has anyone else done this?

Thanks!

I've used my beer gun to bottle mead in the past. As long as you can do a pressure transfer from the vessel it's currently in, you'll be fine. The beer gun leaves about the same amount of space in the bottle as a 'regular' bottling wand. I have the original beer gun, so not sure if the current version is any different. At worst. do a test fill to see if it leaves enough space for the cork to go in.
