Hello everyone,

I have a question about bottling. I am not to this point yet but I want to make sure I have everything in place.

I am making a blueberry wine. I bought wine bottles with corks but can I use smaller 5 oz bottles with screw caps with shrink capsules. Here is the link to the bottles I am wondering about.

Thanks everyone!

Those look like some nice bottles. The plus side to those is you won't have to store them on their side to keep the corks wet, unless you have the artificial type.
I would say go for it! Plus each bottle will be a nice serving size and you won't have worry about drinking ( or wasting) a whole 750ml bottle.

5 oz is so small, even a gallon batch would require 25. And honestly that's barely one drink per bottle.(less than half a can of soda) If you want smaller than standard (750ml) I'd recommend these

And if you don't have a corker you could purchase Zorks. Just a small tap from a mallet sets them and they are good for storing for 2-5 years.
