Hi Guys,
I'd like to post some pictures of my last DIY project hoping that it could be useful for someone.
I took inspiration from some projects found on this website and on others.
One objective of my DIY creations is to save as much space as possible because I am living in an apartment (the working space that you see in the pictures unfortunately is not where I live).
So to create a compact bottle rack I decided to use some milk and water crates that I use to transport my bottles from the basement to the apartment.
Making a bottle rack in a milk crate give also the opportunity to move it easily for the time the bottle are drying.
The water crates already had the separator for the bottles while for the milk crate I had to make it. So I took all the measure and I start cutting the wood panel.
I then starting drilling the wood panel to create the holes for the bottleneck. I used the hole for 32 mm.
Each bottle rack can old 12 bottles so 36 in total which is ok for the bottle I need. Usually I do a 50 litres batch (12 gallons) but then I split it with a friend and we bottle separately.
I already tested for the last bottling day and it worked grat.
