Blichmann Optional Tri-Clamp Blow-off Kit

Blichmann Optional Tri-Clamp Blow-off Kit for any fermenator.

Has anyone used this item/installed? I was told by Blichmann help line that it fastens in a 1.25" hole in the lid which would be a common #7 stopper hole. What means do they use to facilitate this? the guy doesn't seem to know from they're "Contact us" help line.

I am guessing it may be threaded like a t-nut and once tightened is solid against the lid with a gasket.

I have tri clamp fittings at work but mine ar all welded into place.
