I’ve just acquired as Blichmann 10g kettle with a boil coil that I’m planning on using as my new BIAB set up. It looks like the top of the coil sits at about the 3.25 gallon mark. I’ll have some type of false bottom on top of the coil to protect the grain/bag. I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around what my max grain bill could be. Do I have 10 gallons to work with or 6.75?
I plan on mashing at full volume, and recirculating the mash.
Thanks for any insight.
