Thought i would run this idea past a few of you, to hear your thoughts on if it would work. So i have the Blichmann 10 gallon boilermaker. As you may know, it has the dip tube inside which doesn't allow for an attachment of a Bazooka screen. I was wondering what the result would be if i just bent my bazooka screen in a way as to cover the dip tube, preventing hop particles and other matter to be syphoned into my carboy. I already have a homemade hop bag/ spider for my pellet hops, but i still noticed hop particles in the wort during my last batch. Do you think the screen would get easily clogged making it more of an annoyance than beneficial?
