Big cleaning day

You ever go a little too long since your last full brewery scrub down and watch in disgust as the PBW does its job? I scrub down and rinse immediately after using each vessel on brew day and will pay extra attention if I see noticeable scum, but over time it still builds up. Did a full hot PBW soak and recirculate on my keggles and man was that overdue. Maye someone else needs this reminder today, cheers!

i like devoting a day to brewery cleaning. as well as organizing. it was just the other day that i realized that my keg blaster is by far the cleanest thing in my brewery. lol

Clean? You mean I'm supposed to CLEAN IT, and rinsing off the outside doesn't take care of it?

Everyone finds their own comfort level. But seeing accumulated scuz might motivate a person to up their cleaning game.

I run hot Oxi solution through "everything" after each brew day. Maybe I'd do less if I didn't use a pump, HERMS coil and counterflow chiller.

Seeing but ignoring was one thing but not even knowing how bad it could be…might just continue living in ignorance.

We’re just brewing the traditional way. I was always told Belgian brewers didn’t clean for risk of altering the symbiosis.
