I'm not trying to be cool or anything, but I can assure you that I can open a beer bottle anywhere, anytime with any tool, or with out any tools. Wine bottles too.

I think they're selling those things for $20-30 a piece. Ridiculous for a seat clamp and not worth the silly novelty. Never mind that you have to open your beer on its side.

A commenter on a another forum noted something to the effect of funny how they can carry a six pack in the back of their car but can't manage to put a bottle opener in there.

Pfft, all you have to do is open the beer while cornering at a high rate of speed and it'll work just fine. :ban:

My pedals make a great opener. So do many front sprockets. But when I'm on my bike, I'm usually in the woods and that means I carry my beer in cans.

Wait. They're for serious? I'm familiar with the kickstarter site and know they're serious about what they do but this product has to be a joke that went too far.

Just what we need around here, a bunch of drunk bicyclists riding around, weaving in and out of traffic.

I use my time pedals. Works great. Also have the tuggnuts on my karate monkey. I guess the sprocket would work great. Mostly for MTBers after the ride.

i had older version of this a while back. fbm stem with bottle opener

On second thought... Where's this thing for Harleys? I'm generally craving a brew after a long ride, I find myself wanting water after bicycling. Please note the 'after' in that sentence, I love my beer and I love my bike but mixing the two is bad joojoo.

I used to open bottles with my cell phone. Eventually it ate through most of the plastic at the mic and destroyed it, but I hated that phone anyways.

ehh, kinda lame...and in most states (if not all) If your caught drinking and operating anything (other than your legs) you can get a DUI...stupid I agree, but its kinda like puting a bottle opener on your car.

unless something changed, in washington it's not illegal to drink and pedal a bike.

and drinking while riding is the best way to pedal. :) (with platforms not clipless, of course)
