What are my best options for a stopper and blowoff tube for my bb

Yup, works great. I got a thermowell from Brewer's Hardware, some parts from home depot, and made this:

I have a bunch of BB. I only use the rubber bungs in them.

Take a bung to home depot and get a bunch of tubing that friction fits into the hole. It's really easy that way. Then feed the tubing into a pitcher of starsan mix.

Here's a pic of some of my blowoffs (smorgasbord of methods there). The carboys on the top left and bottom right are how I do it now.

You have tubing the goes INTO the hole? That sounds like it would have to be awful small...

I mostly use glass now but all my better bottles got the carboy cap and 1/2" ID silicone fits over the larger output.
