Best way to clear up Cider

Are there a few options for getting my cider to clear up a bit?
Just how effective is that Sparklloid stuff and just what exactly is it anyway.
Im sure cloudy Cider would taste fine but it isn't very attractive.

I used bentonite in my kit cider, which was pretty much just apple juice concentrate, seems to have cleared up fine.
