I am getting back into brewing and am looking to purchase a starter kit. What is the best site on the web for purchasing supplies?

Midwestsupplies.com
Morebeer.com
Northernbrewer.com
Austinhomebrew.com

You will never need another site!!!!!

bluelou6,

Welcome to the forum! Where are you located? That may determine the best answer.

Yeah, a lot depends on where you live.
I am in MA and I tend to order from Northern Brewer when I don't go to Beer-Wine.com (actually I walk in to their warehouse/store, it's about 5 mi from my house).

thanks for the responses. I am Northen New Jersey

I have tried two of the above. They all have their pros and cons but time in transit is what has (more or less) made me settle on one.

Maybe check http://www.listermann.com/ as well, I bet they can get it to you faster.

If you want to go to a store you can try the Brewer's Apprentice . I know some people that go there. They are in Freehold.

In Columbus there is http://www.hamiltonhomebrew.com/.

Or if you ever venture to Philly, stop by Beercrafters (see my signature - the site is out of date, but the address and phone info is still good not the email address).

morebeer.com northernbrewers.com and williamsbrewing.com are where i have ordered from. there products and service have been fine. morebeer if your oder is over $59 the shipping is free. northern was shipping for $5.99 check'em out.

The $5.99 shipping was promotional and has ended. However, they've started a new program called "Brewsaver Shipping" for $7.99 excluding certain bulky items. Still a great deal if you ask me.
