Ok so ive got a Belgian blonde in primary and im fixin to rack it into secondary I want to get some opinions on possibly adding fruit like strawberries or something. I've never seen a Belgian blonde with fruit but I'm going for originality. On the other hand If It ain't broke don't fix it

You can always do an experiment where you keep half original and rack the other half onto fruit in another secondary. Let me know what you decide to do and how it turns out. The SWMBO picked out a Belgian blonde ale from the LHS that she wants to brew. I am planning on adding 1lb. of Belgian Blonde candy sugar at the 30min point of the boil.

Straight huckleberry I used them on my cream ale should be good or choke cherry that could be good never has a belgain blonde before I am intreasted in the recipe you used

Oh... this is a beer thread... :)

I haven't made a Belgian with fruit, but when/if I do I would probably pitch some brett or lacto to sour it a bit after primary ferm is done.

How much will the skin of the fruit change the color of the beer I was thinking blackberries would be good but I don't want my Belgian blonde turning to a Belgian brunette
