So I bottled my Belgain Dubbel and after about a month, it is still flat. I was thinking of just emptying the bottles in a keg. Will this work or is this just a newbie dumb idea?

What temperature are you storing the bottles at? And how much priming sugar did you use?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Home Brew mobile app

the last dubbel i made took a little over 2 months to carbonate. it still wasn't great for another 2, but it was carbonated.

they were stored in my cold basement, say around 55 - 60F
i then put them in my fridge for a few days before i tried one at 40F

Okay so two things.

1. That is simply too cold to expect carbonation. Try moving them to somewhere ~70F.

2. I brew almost exclusively Belgians. They on average take a long time to carb. I once had a tripel take 4 months to fully carb.

Move somewhere warmer and be patient. Don't pour them out and ruin them :)

Thanks for the input
