So all the ingredients to all my recipes are gone. and all the ingredients to all their "sample recipes" WTF? I am pissed. Is this something i did or what? any help would be greatly appreciated. all my notes remain though?
Beersmith erased all the ingredients!?!?!

Sounds like your ingredients.bsm file is corrupted or deleted. IIRC, with every new edit BS makes a backup to the *.bsm files.
Look in the Beersmith programs folder and see what's up.

Search your c: drive for the newopts14.opts file and delete it.
BeerSmith will recreate it when it starts and your ingredients will be back.
This happens to me if my machine crashes while Beersmith is open.
