Beer sorbet

We got an ice cream maker for Christmas from my girlfriend's sister! This excites me. I loooove fun kitchen contraptions. Anyways, my first experiment happens tonight on the form of making a sorbet out of Jackie O's Java the Stout (our coffee stout). Pretty stoked to see how it comes out. Prost!

Ha. Just OK. Attempt #1 was a success, but could use some more time in the machine. It was a little too soft due to the alcohol. I'll post pictures of the next batch. It tastes great though.
