Beer of the Month clubs

Out of the many clubs that are out there, are there ones that you like and why? Trying to sift through them all to find a good bargain.

There are plenty of them out there, but I don't think that I've ever seen one that I would consider a bargain. You typically end up with a lot of middle of the road beer that isn't very thoughtfully handled or selected. There's only so much you can get through in any region before you have to duplicate or move to lower quality beer to fill their line ups.

I'm not so sure about beer of the month clubs, but my wife bought me a beer kit of the month club from midwest supplies a few years back when i was getting into brewing. It was a good way to get a lot of extract beer to make ...in fact the downside was finding time every month to brew it! SOme were quite tasty. More expensive than buying stuff yourself, but it was cooler and overall cheaper than an actual beer of the month offering.
