Beer in Galveston, TX

I'm going to Galveston for the weekend and was wondering if anyone knew of any bars/restaurants with decent beer selections there.

I can't speak about Galveston , but Houston has some great beer bars. Ginger man, Flying Saucer, Yard House.

the spot is good, nice biker crowd, that's about all I know.

Huntsville huh? I went to school there. Grew up in a VERY small town not too far from there.

Where is The Spot? Strand, seawall, ...

it's on the seawall, I don't know the intersections but it's there.

also there's a liquor store type place on the strand (i can't remember the name, it's been like a year since I've been) and they have EVERYTHING. it's ridiculous. homebrews, big names, that monty python hole ale, etc.

they even had a black and tan that was already mixed, it came in a little tiny moonshine jug. Called Mississippi Mud. I want to go buy some just to have the bottles for my own use.

I don't think you'll find much beer, but Queen's BBQ is awesome. That was the only thing I liked about Galveston.
