You might want to replace some extract with corn or table sugar if you try it again. It'll keep the cost down and decrease sweetness. Don't go higher than 20% though (by gravity points), or it will start to taste like something that's not beer.

damn this stuff is nice. I have four bottles left.
...need to make a Michael Jackson beer next. any ideas? Black and White Moon Walker?
Black and Tan? ...this makes me think. There is a drink where you mix cider with beer. is there a way to brew this straight? I am a little druck just now - just thinking and typing. This will in no way get me into trouble.
12 litres apple juice
5 Kilos malt extract
1 Kilo Honey
vanilla pod
hops
yeast
top with water up to 25L and ferment as normal.
